Bottom Mounts (TRBM)

These instrument deployment platforms are ideally suited for use with up-ward looking ADCPs and provide space for extra battery housings, and other instrumentation.

An extensive product line is available with many optional configurations providing the necessary tools for deployment and recovery of instruments in many locations and environmental conditions.

Tripod Systems

Mooring Systems, Inc. also manufactures a lightweight tripod style bottom mount. This open version instrument platforms is ideally suited for use with upward looking Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers.

Gimbaled mounting hardware provides proper orientation of the transducer head on sloping sea-beds. Additional mounting is available on the tripod braces for extra battery housings, and other instrumentation. An optional acoustically activated pop-up buoy with high strength Spectra line to hoist the platforms on deck allows recovery without the use of divers.
